Before joining the imprint, in 2004, she was an independent publishing consultant and editor for architects, museums, and nonprofit organizations, and served as managing editor of the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians. She was a Senior Editor at Harry N. Abrams from 1991 to 2001, and an Editor at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum from 1982 to 1991.
