One of the world’s leading voices in art book publishing, Metropolis Books co-publisher Sharon Helgason Gallagher is also the President and Publisher of ARTBOOK | D.A.P., the New York-based art book distribution and publishing company she founded in 1990 under the name D.A.P./Distributed Art Publishers. She was a Senior Editor at Harry N. Abrams from 1991 to 2001, and an Editor at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum from 1982 to 1991.
